Certificate in Business Management

Acadia University is pleased to partner with 14 Wing Greenwood to offer a new Certificate in Business Management to military personnel, DND civilian (Public and Non-Public) employees and members of the surrounding community.  

The Program:

This onsite program consists of 30 credit-hours of courses from Acadia University's F.C. Manning School of Business. After completion, you will have management skills to help you succeed in the military or as a business professional.

  • Learn from the best: All courses are taught by faculty from Acadia, one of Canada's top undergraduate universities
  • Equip yourself: Delve into management and expand your business background with courses in human resources, communications, budget management, organizational theory, and more
  • On Base: No travelling - all courses will be available to you in Greenwood. Courses will be delivered in the Birchall Training Centre, 

Advanced Standing:

Military members who have completed ILQ or PLQ or 2 OPME courses may qualify for advanced standing within the program, and require fewer courses to complete your degree certificate.  All courses within the program can be applied towards Acadia's Bachelor of Business Administration or other degree program.

Fees

Each course is $779. There is an admission fee of $25. Payment can be made online at time of registration using Visa, Mastercard, or American Express. Payments by cheque should be sent with your admission documentation. More information about fees and payments is available here.

Textbooks orders can be placed online through the Acadia University Bookstore starting August 15, 2009.
