Wildlife Management
BIO 4863: Wildlife Biology and Habitat Management in Nova Scotia Join us May 3-May 14, 2010 for this special new course devoted to the world of protecting, monitoring, and preserving wildlife. Basic principles of population, community, ecosystem and landscape ecology will be taught. Field labs and lectures will focus on examining local issues and processes to support problem solving and decision making required for effective wildlife and habitat management. Wildlife Management education is of particular value to those in natural resource professions, but the course will provide an interesting foundation to biology students or those with a particular interest in preserving the beauty of Canadian nature.
