Extensions
Online Courses
If you have difficulty completing your online course in the allotted time, you may request an extension. Your instructor will decide if you are eligible for an extension. If so, a new completion date will be mailed to you. Extensions are either three or six months in duration.
Extensions are at the discretion of your instructor. An extension may not be granted if you have not been submitting coursework regularly, or if your request is not received at least one month prior to the stated completion date for your course. Exceptional circumstances will be considered.

To obtain a course time extension log in to the Open Acadia Web Portal, 'Login' in the upper-right-hand corner and click on the 'extensions' tab to see your list of open-entry courses.

Other Courses
Extensions are not normally granted in classroom-based courses but may be considered under exceptional circumstances.
