Admission & Registration

Students registering for courses at Acadia University must first be admitted to the university. The Admission and Registration Form allows you to apply for admission and register for courses on a single form.

Applying for Admission

You must apply for admission by completing Section 2 of the form and submitting the required admission documentation and fees if you:

• have not previously taken courses with Acadia University and wish to take courses for credit
• have been required to withdraw from the university
• have graduated from your program
• have not taken a course at Acadia in the last 12 months

If you have an Acadia student number and are currently in a program, you do not have to reapply for admission, but only need to register by completing Sections 1 and 3 of the Admission and Registration Form.

Applications to Undergraduate degree programs should be made on application forms through the Acadia University Admissions Office.  

Applications for Graduate Education degree programs are made through the Acadia University Graduate Studies office.  More information, including application deadlines, is available here:  http://gradstudies.acadiau.ca/education.html

Your Responsibilities

It is your responsibility to meet registration and admission deadlines, program requirements and course prerequisites when selecting a course.

It is also your responsibility to pay all fees at the time of registration; we are not able to process forms without proper payment. A seat will be reserved for you only when payment has been received in full. Payment cannot be charged to your student account for courses listed by Open Acadia.
