About the Artist

Acadia Life Long Learning member Mildred Schofield is a long-time resident of Hantsport. Prior to participating in the ALL program, she was a member of art groups such as the Hantsport Tea Room Artists, has attended various workshops, and participated in group sessions using different mediums. She eventually settled into watercolour as her medium of choice. Mildred has been enjoying the fall and winter classes offered by the centre for the past couple of years receiving instruction in both watercolour and acrylics. She praises the professional instruction received which has greatly advanced her knowledge and enjoyment of the hobby. Mildred looks forward to the coming season of ALL instruction.

The 2010 program will be available August 25.
