PSYC 1013 Intro Psychology: Experimental
An introductory survey of psychology with emphasis on basic processes, including perception, learning, biological bases of behaviour, cognition, and basic research methods.

You should register for PSYC 1013 Y1.

January 2013

PSYC 1023 Intro Psychology: Applied
An introductory survey of psychology with emphasis on social psychology, developmental psychology, abnormal behaviour, psychotherapy, personality and assessment. Prereq: Psyc 1013

You should register for PSYC 1023 Y2.

Admission and Registration:

Transcripts. A transcript is not required if you are registering for PSYC 1013. If you are registering for BIOL 2053 or any of our 2000 level online courses, you are required to submit a transcript from Dalhousie.

Letter of Permission.  Please submit your Dalhouse University Letter of Permission (LOP) as soon as possible. This will ensure that your final grade is sent back to Dalhousie upon completion of your courses. The LOP can be downloaded from the Dalhousie University website.

Fees:

Tuition for each course is $917. There is an admission fee of $25. Payment can be made online at time of registration using Visa, Mastercard, or American Express. Payments by cheque should be sent with your admission documentation. More information about fees and payments is available here.

It is important to note that you are not registered in the course unless payment has been received.

Textbooks:

Textbooks orders can be placed online through the Acadia University Bookstore. Some texbooks may already be available at the School of Nursing. Please consult with your academic advisor prior to purchasing.
