Learning Options
The TESOL Certificate and the individual courses that comprise it are offered both online and on-campus, providing you with flexibility in how to approach your studies. Either option will provide you with an intimate and comprehensive learning environment for your studies in TESOL.
Online
TESOL Certificate courses are available online in an open-entry format. This allows you to study each course at your own pace, and provides an ideal option if you're currently a practicing professional or enrolled at another university. Depending on your academic workload or other committments, you can take all three courses at once, or complete them one at a time over a longer period. As an online learner, you still retain the option to take part in a practicum at Acadia University or at a qualified location of your choice.
On-campus
You can also choose to enroll in the TESOL Certificate on-campus at Acadia University. On-campus TESOL courses run from September to February each year, with classes typically held in the evenings: please refer to the course descriptions for more details. The on-campus option is an excellent choice for local residents or current Acadia students from any degree program.
