Certificate in Computer Science
Acadia University, the first university in Canada to offer an undergraduate e-commerce program in computer science, also offers a certificate that can be tailored to your particular career or academic needs. This 30 credit-hour program is the perfect opportunity to earn the equivalent of a first-year university program, while specializing in a very important field right from the start.
The Certificate in Computer Science provides the opportunity to become a proficient programmer in Java and C Programming languages and to acquire valuable knowledge and skills for work as an entry-level programmer in fields such as telecommunications and software development.
