Organisms and their Environment 1 (BIOL 1113)

This course will expose you to concepts in ecology and Mendelian genetics. We will start with an introduction to the culture and practice of science, or how do we do science. We will then explore ecology looking at various levels of organization from the biosphere and biomes through to communities and populations. Finally we will cover Mendelian genetics: how are traits inherited and what are some of the factors that affect that inheritance?
