Acadia University English Language Centre

Acadia University's English for Academic Purposes (EAP) program aims to improve your academic English and prepare you for university study at Acadia University or in Canada.  Our mission is to foster academic success and cultural awareness in each of our students. You will experience life and learning in a beautiful, small town setting, with the support of an established and progressive institution.

Acadia has long been recognized as one of Canada's most distinguished and respected universities, and our English Language Centre provides all the highlights of an Acadia education.  Our small class sizes, extensive use of technology, and experienced English instructors contribute to an intimate learning environment.

You'll learn on the beautiful Acadia University campus in Wolfville, Nova Scotia.  We provide a safe, welcoming community environment in which to study English.

  • Discover Canada through Culture Class, where you'll experience Canadian culture by visiting historic sites and local landmarks, and try new activities, sports, and cuisine.
  • In University Bridging, the final level of the EAP program, you'll complete a first-year Acadia University credit course while still attending your EAP classes to practice and improve your English skills.
