An introduction to ecology and classical genetics, with an emphasis on understanding the scientific method (3h lab). IMPORTANT NOTE: “BIOL 1113 has a 3-hour lab requirement which is not delivered online. You will be required to register in an on-campus section of the lab at Acadia (only delivered during the FALL term), or provide proof that the lab has been successfully completed elsewhere. Permission may be obtained for you to participate in an Acadia BIOL 1113 lab by contacting the Head of the Biology Department. Once permission has been obtained the Biology Department will notify Open Acadia, and your registration will be finalized. If you have completed the lab at another institution, you will be required to provide a syllabus for the lab, and a transcript that contains your lab mark.
